Aerial Photograph of Los Inocentes (1987) This shows the typical pattern of forested corridors (known as galleries) along the creeks, separating the cattle pastures, now abandoned and in regeneration. Volcan Orosí is the dark forested area in the bottom right corner (the southeast corner), the lodge itself is in the top center, just south of the visible main road running left to right from La Cruz to Santa Cecilia.  The lighter, drier pastures to the left are now part of the Area de Conservación de Guanacaste.   North is approximately directly up the page.
