What's involved? There is a forum with weekly assignments,  seven online assignments and five parts of a "Teacher Work Sample".  These are described on the page called "Class Content and the grading scheme is shown. 

All assignments are submitted electronically using the Drop Box and Forum tabs on these pages.   Assignments are due approximately once a week.  See Class Information for details about technology needed for this course.

A Teacher Work Sample (TWS) is basically a unit of instruction that you plan and teach.  In this course, we will be working on five of the components of the TWS.  During your practicum, you will complete and entire TWS.  For this course, we will focus on the planning components of the TWS.  Here, you will describe the context in which you teach, identify goals (limit yourself to three), plan a unit, and develop plans for assessment and classroom management.
